The wait is finally over! In a spectacular evening of glitz and glamour, Caitlin Worthington (also known as Caity) from Queensland has officially been crowned Miss Universe Australia 2026.


The highly anticipated national final took place on August 26, 2026, at the iconic Crown Melbourne. Pageant enthusiasts across the nation tuned in to watch the grand finale, which was broadcast live on Channel 7. Competing alongside 27 other amazing women on the final stage, Caitlin’s elegance, intellect, and commanding presence ultimately secured her the coveted crown.

A Journey of Excellence

Caitlin's path to the crown was marked by standout performances throughout the pageant's preliminary activities:

  • Early Victory: Ahead of the main event, she successfully captured the prestigious 2026 Seamless1 Global Voice Winner title, highlighting her exceptional communication skills and advocacy.


  • The Preparation: She proudly represented Queensland, standing out in a comprehensive self-development and leadership program organized by Pink Tank Events, which initially began with over a hundred inspirational young women.


  • International Retreat: As part of her journey, Caitlin and her fellow national finalists traveled to Vietnam for an official preparatory retreat hosted at the luxurious Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh.


 The 2026 Royal Court

The competition was fierce, with incredibly strong representations from across the country. Alongside Caitlin's historic victory, four other exceptional women were recognized in the Top 5 for their outstanding performances:

  • Winner: Caitlin Worthington (Queensland)


  • 1st Runner-Up: Georgia Van Zaanen (Western Australia)


  • 2nd Runner-Up: Rowan Brent-White (Western Australia)


  • 3rd Runner-Up: Uma Dawson (New South Wales)


  • 4th Runner-Up: Kristabella Leembruggen (New South Wales)

The Passing of the Crown

In an emotional and celebratory moment, the reigning titleholder, Lexie Brant (Miss Universe Australia 2025), gracefully passed the crown to her successor, ushering in a new era for the organization.


As the newly crowned Miss Universe Australia 2026, Caitlin Worthington will now begin her preparations to represent the nation on the international Miss Universe stage. With her evident drive and established "Global Voice," Australia has undoubtedly selected a formidable and articulate ambassador.
